Privacy Policy — Website and Paddle Purchases

Effective date: 20 October 2026

Scope

This policy covers visits to darkwoodapps.com, messages sent to our support contact, and information we receive in connection with a purchase completed through Paddle. The product-specific policy for Chat Relay for Jira is available at Privacy Policy — Chat Relay.

No Paddle checkout is currently active on this website. If Paddle purchases become available, the transaction sections below will apply to those orders.

Website and support messages

Our static website does not use advertising trackers, analytics scripts, or site-authored cookies. The hosting and content-delivery provider may process technical request information, such as IP address, browser details, request time, and security logs, to deliver and protect the site.

If you email us, we process the details and message content you choose to provide so we can respond, provide product support, and keep appropriate business records. Please do not email payment-card details, passwords, activation secrets, or sensitive health information.

Paddle transactions

For an order completed through Paddle, Paddle acts as the Merchant of Record and collects the buyer and payment information needed to process the transaction, calculate applicable taxes, prevent fraud, and provide billing support. Paddle's Buyer Terms and Privacy Notice explain Paddle's own processing.

Paddle may share transaction and contact details with us where needed to identify the product purchased, deliver or support it, manage refunds, and keep required business records. We do not receive your full payment card number or card security code. We use buyer details only for these transaction, delivery, support, security, and record-keeping purposes; we do not sell personal data or use it for targeted advertising.

Paddle's Merchant of Record role applies only to transactions completed through Paddle. It does not apply to free Garmin Connect IQ Store downloads or transactions handled by another seller.

Retention and your requests

We keep support correspondence and transaction-related records only as long as needed for the purposes above and applicable accounting, legal, security, and dispute requirements. To ask about personal information we hold, request correction or deletion where available, or raise a privacy concern, email support@darkwoodapps.com. Some transaction records may need to be retained where law requires it; Paddle may also retain its own transaction records under its policy.

Mandatory privacy rights vary by jurisdiction. Nothing in this policy limits a right that cannot lawfully be waived. We will update this page if our website or data practices materially change.
